How to Add Prescription Lenses in 6 Simple Steps - A Sight Solutions Guide

Ordering prescription glasses online is easy - if you know the steps. In this quick guide, we’ll show you exactly how to add your prescription lenses when buying glasses online in just 6 easy steps.

STEP 1: Click The "Select Lenses" Button

In the product page, you can either click the "Buy it Now" button or choose "Select Lenses" button to add prescription lenses. 

STEP 2: Choose Your Prescription Type

You can choose between single vision lenses, bifocal lenses, multifocal lenses, or just add the frame only.

STEP 3: Add Your Prescription

Assuming that you’ve gone to your local optometrist for a valid prescription, in step 3, you can choose between our 3 upload options:   

  1. Upload your prescription as a pdf document,
  2. Add your prescription manually or,
  3. Send it later as an email

If you choose options 2 and 3, you can skip step 4 and jump to step 5. Our qualified optometrists will then verify the prescription and should we have any questions, we'll contact you.

 

STEP 4: Enter Your Prescription Manually

When entering your prescription, make sure all fields are completed. You can also upload your prescription if you choose to. Press Save and Continue.

 

STEP 5: Choose Your Lenses

Choose if you want clear lenses, anti-blue light lenses, lenses with photochromic tint, or lenses with photochromic tint + anti-reflective coating (ARC).

If you’re looking for thinner or custom lenses, email us your prescription at info@sightsolutions.co.za. Recommended for SPH above ±6 and CYL above 3.

 

STEP 6: Review Your Prescription Details

Lastly, review your order and if everything is correct, press the Add to Cart button to proceed to checkout. 

And you’re done! You can now go to checkout and settle your payment. Don't forget to apply any discount code you have before checkout to enjoy our amazing discounts.
