General Eye Care

   We recommend a comprehensive eye exam every 1-2 years. If you have specific eye conditions or wear corrective lenses, you may need more frequent check-ups.
2. What's the difference between an optometrist and an ophthalmologist?
   An optometrist performs eye exams, prescribes corrective lenses, and diagnoses common eye conditions. An ophthalmologist is a medical doctor who can perform surgical procedures in addition to providing general eye care.
3. Can I wear contact lenses if I have dry eyes or astigmatism?
   Yes! There are specialty lenses designed for dry eyes and astigmatism. We'll help you find the best fit.
4. What are the signs that I might need glasses?
   Blurred vision, frequent headaches, squinting, difficulty seeing at night, or eye strain may indicate the need for vision correction.
5. Can too much screen time damage my eyes?
   Prolonged screen use can cause digital eye strain. Using blue light filters, taking screen breaks, and adjusting your screen lighting can help reduce symptoms.

1. Do I need a prescription to buy glasses or contact lenses?
   Yes, to ensure your lenses are made to match your exact vision needs.
2. How long is my prescription valid?
   In most cases, prescriptions are valid for 1-2 years, depending on your location and eye health.
3. Can I use my eyeglass prescription to order contact lenses?
   No, contact lens prescriptions include additional specifications for lens shape and fit that differ from glasses.
4. What do the numbers on my prescription mean?
   They indicate the type and level of correction needed for each eye. If you need help understanding your prescription, feel free to contact us.
5. How do I upload my prescription when placing an order?
   You'll be prompted to upload it during checkout, or you can email it to us after placing your order.

 

Ordering & Products

1. How do I choose the right frames for my face shape?
   We offer style guides and virtual try-on tools to help you find the perfect match for your face shape and personal style.
2. Do you offer prescription sunglasses or blue light glasses?
   Yes! Most of our frames are customizable with prescription sunglasses, blue light filters, progressive lenses, and more.
3. How long will it take to receive my glasses?
   Orders with prescription glasses typically take 7-14 business days to process and MUST BE COLLECTED IN-STORE due to HPCSA guidelines.
4. What if I enter the wrong prescription?
   Please contact us as soon as possible. If production hasn't started, we'll update your order. If it has, we'll work with you on a solution.
5. Can I return or exchange prescription glasses?
   Prescription lenses are custom-made and generally non-refundable. However, we offer remakes or adjustments if there's a problem with the order.
